Ice cream...which in Texas, means Bluebell. Favorite flavors in Robinson County--Mint Chocolate Chip (that would be mine), Cookies & Cream (J), Moollennium Crunch (J, again), and Homemade Vanilla (all of us!). Of course, there is still something to be said for true, homemade ice cream, especially in the summer time.Indecisive...Jason and I both fall into this category, which makes going out to eat almost more of a pain than staying home. ("Where do you want to go? " "I don't care...where do you want to go?")
Inky Pens...anyone who knows me well, knows that I'm a pen snob. My preferred writing instrument? The Pilot G-2 07. It's my trademark pen, and if given the choice I will use it over anything else. My handwriting just doesn't look quite the same without it.
"I you!"...translation: "I love you!"--my most favorite Norah-ism, to date. (Especially when she says it, unprompted...which lately, is a lot.)

Yes, yes, yes! I agree with everything you just said...except the "I love you" part, but if Norah told me she loved me I would definitely think it was sweet!
At work I use the same exact pen. Not to brag, but I have one in blue, green, red, pink, teal and maroon! My black one got "borrowed" a while back. :)
Sorry, Irma...but if I would have listed your name, I would have had to list EVERYONE's...and I didn't want everyone to be jealous of how many friends I have (j/k)
I had that exact pen set when I worked at the church (which, by the way, I single-handledly converted almost the entire staff into using "my" pens) I used them to "color code" my calendar.
It's always so nice to hear our kids tell us that they love us. I hope it never ends!
wow, now i'm totally craving some icecream. bluebell is good, but you should branch out and try ben & jerry's 'everything but...' or 'oatmeal cookie crunch'. yum!!
I am amazed with every new post just how much we have in common! Even the same flavors of blue bell are purchased at our house per request of husband/wife. (Of course, there aren't many flavors of blue bell we would turn down if they were offered) I am immensely blessed to also have a hard working husband who adores our children and cherishes the time we have together, he values me as a S.A.H. mom and helps me/pampers me every chance he gets! I must admit to being a "pen snob" as well, though my loyalty lies with the uni-ball Signo 0.7 with gel grip. My heart truly skips a beat when I lay eyes on the multi pack at Sam's...Ahhh! And hearing the words "I love you" coming from the tiny little being whom was created within you...there are no words describe...
