Zipper...I have successfully sewn in two (one in a bag, and the other in a dress), but I will unashamedly admit to choosing patterns that do not require this particular contraption. Both times I've had to sew them in, it really wasn't so bad, but for some reason, I have an aversion to zippers. Erin, at House on Hill Road assures me that her upcoming "Pillow Zipper" tutorial will teach me how to do it in a snap.Zoo...One of my favorite family venues. The best one we've visited so far was the Cameron Zoo in Waco...but then again, we've only been to one other (Houston, which meant Houston-traffic...so there you go) I'm definitely up for exploring more in the near future, especially since Norah loved it so much, too.
And that concludes my August ABC's meme (finally!), we now return you to your regularly scheduled blog--high in Norah content and low in saturated fat. (Unless my pregnancy cravings continue to dictate my posts)

We loved the ABC's. What a fun idea. I thought about doing the same but I am not so sure I can keep up with it like you did.
Good job making it through! I would of dropped off by about the letter "d". ;)
BTW, I told Mike last night how good Jason had it (the way you get up in the a.m. to prepare everything for him). Mike just smiled as I said, "Sorry dude, there's not a chance." :)
I'm glad that at least a few people enjoyed my ABC's...it gets a little old just writing about me everyday :)
Denise...thanks for talking me up. Thankfully, Jason will happily admit that he does have it good--at least in the lunch department...he might argue about the "keeping up with the laundry" department...but we just wont mention that :)
If you can handle traffic on Texas Avenue at 5pm, you can handle Houston traffic. It's really not that bad. Take 290 to Beltway 8 (which is a toll road, by the way), go west, get off on 288 and follow the signs to the zoo.
