Thanks to everyone for voting, and especially for the comments (some of them really made me laugh). After taking everything into consideration, I've decided to go with "Pigtails & Puddles". "Norah's Closet" was another, close favorite for me, but I decided it wouldn't work as well for boys, and I didn't want to have 2 separate labels. I also loved all of the "Sew" names, but unfortunately, a little Google search quickly revealed that they're all already in use, and I really wanted something unique. I've always been a sucker for alliteration, and I really like the childish, fun, sound of the name I've chosen...not to mention, anyone who's ever met Norah knows that those mischievous pigtails are kind of her trademark. I know it doesn't have a thing in the world to do with sewing (and yes, it will need a tag-line, but that's ok with me), but it will allow me to go in any direction I want to in the future. (Besides, random, cutesy brand names are all the rage at Baby Boutiques) I've even got the perfect vision for a logo if I ever hit the big time (insert roaring laughter: here)--I picture a little girl (with pigtails) and a little boy holding hands and jumping into a big puddle--kind of a vintage picture, similar to Dick & Jane.
Thanks, also, for tolerating me "week off" from blogging while the "Name Game" was in progress. I have some fun pictures ready to post soon, but for now, it's off to the grocery store. Have a happy Monday!
