I think Norah is starting to get the idea, too. When we brought her into the room for the first time after the new color was on the walls, her first reaction was to walk right up to the wall, point at it with her little index finger, and proclaim, "Cute!" with enthusiasm. So, we asked her if she would like this to be her new room, to which she responded, "Yeah", with no hesitation. Her favorite aspect of the room, however, is temporary. She absolutely loves walking around on the plastic drop cloth in her bare feet. (I think the sticking nose they make is what intrigues her) Hopefully she'll still like her room once the plastic is gone.

These pictures, by the way, have nothing to do with the painting. They're just my example of how well she's been doing at staying content and entertaining herself while we work. When I was making dinner Friday night, Norah wanted to wear "her" apron too (She does this frequently when I'm wearing mine), so I gave her her own little "side dish" to work on as well. Unfortunately, her ingredients all vanished, so I was forced to make a couple of my own for the rest of us to eat. (And yes, I fed my daughter more than fish crackers for dinner)

I love that she said "Cute!" She's so stinkin' adorable. Can't wait to see the completed room!
