O is for...

Oatmeal Cookies...My absolute favorite cookie, hands-down. Please note the intentional omission of the occasional additives "chocolate chips" and "raisins", which are, in their own rite, delicious and wonderful, but in my humble opinion, have a tendency to taint the pure and simple goodness that attracts me to oatmeal cookies. (And no, I do not judge you if you completely disagree) Meg Knight shared her fabulous salty/sweet oatmeal cookie recipe with me about 5 years back, and its still one of my all-time favorites (earning it a spot in "THE recipe book")

Olives...black or green, I'll gladly take either...or both. Side Note: I've always found it a little odd that "The Olive Garden", while named for olives, is, in fact, quite stingy with them. On average, they only put one olive per party member into their salads, which you must share with everyone at the table. (I know this first-hand from years of labor-intensive, extremely scientific study) C'mon guys, olives really aren't that pricey.

Okra...staple vegetable of the South. (My mom recently divulged that she had no idea of it's existence until she moved to Texas her junior year of high school) I recently tried my first attempt at homemade fried okra, and it was delicious, if I do say so, myself!

Tag, you're it...

Here are the rules: 1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts. 2. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of their middle name. If you dont have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had. 3. At the end of your blog-post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag.
